JOOK
Character Design
“JOOK” is a short film premiering at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival in May 2022 under director Olivia Stark as part of the annual Armed With a Camera Fellowship.
I was the principal animator, designer, storyboard artist, and character designer for Jook. Based on Olivia's original story and references, designed all characters and backgrounds for the film, boarded all sequences, and animated 70% of the final shots. Additionally, I transcribed all audio into script format and provided sketch-over edits to the other animators.
Film runtime: 6 minutes, including animated end credits.
